The 84th edition of the All India Industrial Exhibition (AIIE), popularly known as Numaish, concluded on Monday, after a 46-day run. According to officials from the Exhibition Society, this year’s event witnessed a footfall of 19.7 lakh.

With approximately 2,000 stalls, the exhibition provided employment opportunities to nearly 20,000 individuals, both within and beyond the exhibition grounds, said K. Niranjan Reddy, vice-president of the Exhibition Society. Speaking on the concluding day, he highlighted the economic and cultural significance of Numaish, which continues to serve as a platform for traders, artisans, and entrepreneurs from across the country.

At the concluding ceremony, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar lauded the efforts of the Exhibition Society in ensuring a smooth and hassle-free event. “There was no problem at the Numaish this year; the Exhibition Society made sure of that. If there is one event where culture from all parts of the country converges, it is Numaish in Hyderabad. Lakhs of people come to this event, and we thank each one of them for making it a success,” he said.
