Ikonz bags funding from Marc Jordan, Akash Bhanshali, Madhusudhan Kela and Ramanna Thummu

Ikonz Studios, a next-generation AI company has secured a significant strategic investment as part of its Pre-series A funding round. 

Investors including Ramana Thummu, CTO of Expedia and former CTO of Fanatics Commerce; Marc Jordan of Blue Amber Investments, and State of the Art Entertainment; entrepreneur and investor, Madhusudan Kela; and Akash Bhanshali, Principal Owner of the Enam Group, have joined this funding round as strategic investors. All four investors have come on board through their family office.

This infusion of capital marks a pivotal moment in Ikonz’s journey as it accelerates its global expansion, strengthens its AI capabilities, and scales its IP portfolio.

Marc Jordan, President, Blue Amber Investments, is a known figure in the global entertainment industry. He has worked with top artists such as Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Imagine Dragons, helping guide multiple Grammy-winning performers to 15+ Grammy Awards and 56 #1 records. He brings a wealth of exclusive IP and a global creative network.

The new investors bring deep expertise and strategic value across technology, entertainment, and finance. Indian investor Madhusudhan Kela, known for his expertise in capital markets, has previously been honoured with the Best Equity Fund Manager award from the Prime Minister of India. His financial acumen will play a key role in guiding Ikonz’s growth and investment strategy.

Akash Bhanshali, Principal Owner, Enam Group, brings a wealth of experience in financial markets, technology, and strategic investments, will help Ikonz navigate expansion into new markets and industries. 

Ramana Thummu, CTO, Expedia Group, is a technology innovator with over 20 years of experience shaping transformative systems at Fanatics Commerce, where he architected their Cloud Commerce Platform.

Their collective insights, industry connections, and strategic guidance will not only enhance Ikonz’s technological capabilities but also open doors to new markets, partnerships, and revenue opportunities.

Ikonz Studios, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Hyderabad, is a next-generation AI company providing hyper-realistic, multilingual digital avatars and holographic technology to enhance human engagement across industries such as banking, healthcare, education, and retail. 

The company has designed interactive AI experiences with globally recognised personalities, including Amitabh Bachchan, setting a new standard for intelligent and immersive digital interactions.

The investment from these four industry leaders will enable Ikonz to significantly expand its intellectual property (IP) portfolio in both India and global markets while scaling its technical and execution teams. A major portion of the funding will be directed toward acquiring and developing high-value digital IPs. 

Additionally, the company is set to triple its workforce from 34 to nearly 100 employees, with approximately 80% of the team based in India and 20% in the United States. This strategic hiring will include both technical and non-technical roles to support Ikonz’s aggressive growth plans.

In addition to this expansion, Ikonz expects to triple its revenue this year, further positioning itself for an upcoming funding round within the next four months to fuel continued innovation and market penetration.
