Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A woman in Indore stopped a man on a bike and started beating him for allegedly harassing her and pressuring her to settle a court case on Monday.
The incident happened at Madhumilan Square on Monday afternoon .
The man, Mukesh Yadav, was her former live-in partner, and she had already filed a case against him at Azad Nagar police station.
She accused him of pressuring her to settle a court case.
According to police officer Sanju Kamle, the woman and Mukesh were in a live-in relationship earlier.
However, when Mukesh refused to marry her, she filed a complaint, leading to his arrest. He had spent a month in jail.
On Monday, when the woman saw Mukesh heading to court for a hearing, she lost her temper and attacked him in public.
She also alleged that Mukesh had created a fake Instagram ID in her name, which caused her to receive unwanted calls and messages.
Some bystanders tried to intervene, thinking she was attacking an innocent man, but after she explained her side of the story, they stepped back.
Eventually, traffic police and officials separated them and took both to the police station. The investigation is ongoing.
