Deadline extended due to application issues for CET 2025

Bengaluru: Several CET students experienced trouble filling out application form for Common Entrance Test 2025 Saturday.
"I have been trying since morning. I connected on the phone, laptop, wifi, and LAN. Nothing is working. The pages don't move beyond two. Since the last date is mentioned as Feb 18, we are really worried whether we can finish it in time," said a parent.
An official of Karnataka Examination Authority said there was a huge load on the server Saturday as Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions also had the exam the same day. KRIES was also using the same servers for attendance and downloads, so a few services from CET applications were slow, said KEA.
Meanwhile, KEA also extended the last date of registration to Feb 24, 11.59pm. They can pay fees up to 5.30pm on Feb 25.
CET is scheduled to be held on April 16 and 17. Thus far, 2,79,274 students have registered for the exam, and 2,31,797 have paid the fees.
