‘Tharoor unaware of ground reality’

T'puram: UDF convener M M Hassan lashed out at Shashi Tharoor for praising the performance of the LDF govt in the industrial sector. "If he wants to express his own opinions against the party and alliance's stance, he should gracefully step down from the working committee. Tharoor writes and speaks without understanding the ground reality. The content of his article is untrue and baseless," Hassan said.
He also criticised Tharoor for praising Modi. "Did Tharoor utter a word when immigrants were brought back forcibly? How did he know what Modi told Trump in a closed room? Does Tharoor possess some divine power?," he asked.
