Naam Tamizhar Katchi chief coordinator Seeman on Saturday justified the ‘Y’ scale security for actor-politician Vijay.
The security was given since it was difficult for a person like Vijay to meet people. “He must have asked for protection. It need not be viewed seriously,” Mr. Seeman told mediapersons at Coimbatore Airport
“I am not aware,” he said, when asked by mediapersons about the talks doing the rounds about the plan of the government for extending to him the same scale of security. “I don’t need security. I am here for protecting people,” he added.
Taking a dig at BJP State president Annamalai, the NTK leader wondered why those who talk about the Coimbatore blasts back out of discussing Gujarat riots.
