Ramgarh village clinches PVUNL football tournament title

Ramgarh: The second edition of the four-day football tournament organized by Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) concluded on Saturday at Hesla village, Patratu block in Ramgarh district. In the final match, Gegda village defeated Hariharpur 2-1 to claim the championship trophy.
Local MLA Roshanlal Choudhary inaugurated the PVUNL Football Tournament 2025 on February 12, with 16 teams from PVUNL's functional area participating. The opening day featured three matches: Gegda defeated Talatand 2-1, Hariharpur beat Sahitand 3-1, and Balkudra overcame PVUNL team 3-1.
Ziaur Rehman, head of human resources department at PVUNL, stated that the tournament aims to promote sports among villagers and nurture talented youth for national and international competitions.
