Thieves steal gold and silver from Chennai's new Jain temple

Thieves broke into the New Jain Temple in Sowcarpet, stealing half a kg of gold and 10 kg of silver items by removing crowns and gold ornaments from idols. The theft was discovered by the temple priest, and the Elephant Gate police detained six individuals from Rajasthan for questioning, initiating an investigation with CCTV footage.
