While inspecting different development projects and roads, Nitish also said that a ROB (rail over bridge) would be constructed near Arwal Mode at Rajabazar in Jehanabad. The state's rural works department was asked to build this road.
The CM further announced to undertake overall development of the Barabar tourism area. "The Barabar tourism area will undergo comprehensive development. This will facilitate the arrival of millions of pilgrims, especially during the month of Shravan, with better transportation, adequate rest houses, lighting, sheds, and other facilities. This will also create more employment opportunities for the local population," he said.
"A sports complex will also be built in Jehanabad to promote sports activities," he said.
He also announced that new block-cum-circle office buildings would be constructed in the three blocks of Kako, Ghosi and Makhdumpur in Jehanabad.
