New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2025 OBD2B-compliant Shine 125, featuring updated design elements and advanced features aimed at improving the overall riding experience. The new Shine 125 is priced starting at Rs. 84,493 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is available in two variants: Drum and Disc.
The updated Shine 125 retains its classic design while introducing a fresh colour scheme with six options, including Pearl Igneous Black, Geny Gray Metallic, and Rebel Red Metallic. A notable update is the wider 90mm rear tyre, which enhances road stability and visual appeal. The bike also boasts a fully digital instrument cluster that provides essential information such as real-time mileage, range (distance to empty), gear position indicator, service due indicator, and an Eco indicator. Additionally, the Shine 125 comes with a USB Type-C charging port for convenient charging on the go.
Under the hood, the Shine 125 is powered by a 123.94cc, single-cylinder PGM-Fi engine that is now OBD2B compliant. It delivers 7.93 kW of power at 7500 RPM and 11 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. The engine also features an Idling Stop system, designed to improve fuel efficiency, making the bike more eco-friendly. The Shine 125 continues to offer practicality and efficiency for everyday commuting.
