Hyderabad:With 4.97 lakh students from 11,544 schools expected to take the Class X exams next month, educational officers during a special teleconference held on Tuesday through T-SAT urged them to stay confident, avoid stress and focus on effective study techniques.
School education secretary Dr Yogita Rana urged teachers to use Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs) in special classes to support slow learners. She emphasised that passing the exams would boost the students’ confidence and encouraged them to make use of morning and evening study sessions designed for their benefit. She also advised them to maintain a balanced diet and stay hydrated, with nutritious snacks being provided as part of the initiative.
School education director E.V. Narsimha Reddy recommended regular revision and encouraged teachers to mentor slow learners, helping them succeed in the exams. Prof. Swathi from Osmania University's department of psychology noted that the next 35 days of preparation will determine the results. She advised students to study by understanding concepts rather than relying on rote memorisation and take short breaks to avoid mental fatigue.
