Chandigarh: Prof Dr Jyoti Rattan from the department of laws, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, and honorary director, PU coaching centre for IAS, was invited by the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS), Belgium, and the Govt of India to present her research paper at the joint IIAS and the department of administrative reforms and public grievances, Govt of India organised ‘IIAS-DARPG India Conference-2025' being held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 1-14.
This event is expected to be attended by world leaders, senior civil servants, top experts from different countries, and representatives of various UN organs and specialised agencies like the World Bank, UNDP, UNESCO, and ILO.
Prof Jyoti Rattan's paper is on ‘Law relating to online data privacy and artificial intelligence: International and national scenario with special reference to the European Union and India' under the track on ‘The diffusion of rules governing digital platforms, data and artificial intelligence'. Earlier, she also presented papers at IIAS world conferences organised in Seou; Abu Dhabi, and Switzerland, besides the World Conferences of the European Group of Public Administration held in different countries.
Apart from teaching and research, Dr Jyoti Rattan has written 20 books in wide-ranging legal fields. tnn
