Bhubaneswar: Nabaneet Priyadarshi, a Class XII student of DAV Public School, Unit-8, was the state topper in JEE-Main 2025, the result of which was published by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday. He secured 99.98 percentile in the exam.
A total of 12,58,136 candidates had appeared for the exam conducted in 304 cities across India in Jan. Nabaneet credited his success to his parents, teachers and the school. With his sights now set on JEE Advanced, Nabaneet aims to secure a place at one of India's premier IITs.

IIT Bombay and contribute to the field of Artificial Intelligence for society's development," said an elated Nabaneet. Son of Jatindra Kumar Patra, an officer in the state secretariat, and Sabita Patra, a home-maker, Nabaneet said his favourite subject is maths. He spends most of his time studying.
School chairman Santosh Upadhyay, regional director KC Satapathy, and principal Ipsita Das congratulated Nabaneet and other high achievers for their stellar performance.
