A teacher of a Corporation High School in Tiruppur City was arrested under sections of the POCSO Act and remanded in judicial custody.
The inappropriate behaviour of Sundaravadivel (52), a mathematics teacher, with some students who had contacted ‘1098 Helpline’ was established during a spot enquiry conducted jointly by officials of the School Education Department, District Child Welfare Committee and Tiruppur South All Women Police.
