Man killed in road mishap in Narayanguda

A 50-year-old man was killed in a road accident on Monday (February 10, 2025) morning at Cemetery Junction in Narayanguda where his motorcycle was hit from behind by a water tanker.

The victim was identified as Jagannathan Chary, a carpenter by profession and a resident of Chengicherla. According to police, Chary was travelling towards Abids from Narayanguda when a water tanker struck his motorcycle from behind. The impact caused severe injuries, leading to his death on the spot.

“The body was taken for a post-mortem examination. We have launched an investigation into the incident. Efforts are underway to trace the driver of the water tanker, who fled the scene,” said the police.
