HYDRAA receives 64 grievances in ‘Prajavani’

The Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) received 64 complaints pertaining to encroachments, protection of parks, roads and open spaces and others in its grievance redressal forum, Prajavani, on February 10.

Army Officers Colony Welfare Association complained that a 3,000 square yard park was encroached in the colony in Malkajgiri.

Several colony welfare associations from Kukatpally too aired grievances pertaining to encroachments.

Residents of Subodha and Swagruha housing societies near JNTU complained about encroachment of open spaces meant for public utilities.

Complaints were also received about encroachment of Ambeer Cheruvu, and a 2,000 square yard open space at Aditya Nagar.

Plot owners from Jayapuri Colony of Ghatkesar too complained about encroachment of open spaces, with evidence. Residents of Ekashilanagar from Pocharam municipality arrived with a grievance against an engineering college which occupied 15 feet of a 50-feet road.

Residents of Dollar Meadows from Bowrampet village of Ranga Reddy district complained about closure of road from their colony, and urged HYDRAA chief A.V. Ranganath to show them the way as per the layout.

Mr. Ranganath, who heard all the complaints, issued directions to the HYDRAA officials to take action after field inspection.
