Warangal: Officials of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGRTC) announced plans to operate approximately 200 special bus services from February 9 to 16 for the upcoming Mini-Medaram Jatara, set to begin on February 12 at Medaram village in Tadvai mandal, Mulugu district.
RTC regional manager D. Vijay Bhanu stated that buses will start running daily from 6 am at the Hanamkonda bus station, covering 400 trips during the period to facilitate devotees. The services include Palle Velugu and Express buses operating under the Maha Lakshmi Scheme, which offers free travel for women and girls upon presentation of Aadhaar cards. Additionally, super luxury and Rajadhani buses will run with advance reservations available online.
To ensure smooth operations, two controllers and a depot manager will be stationed at both Hanamkonda and Medaram bus stations. Special services will operate 24 hours a day, based on passenger demand.
