Pune, February 7, 2025: A horrific accident occurred in the Junnar taluka of Pune district when a private luxury bus rammed into a container truck on the Pune-Nashik highway. The accident, which took place between 4 AM and 5 AM, left around 40 to 50 passengers injured.

According to reports, the impact was so severe that the driver’s cabin was completely crushed. The bus, which was traveling from Chopda to Pune, was reportedly moving at high speed when it crashed into the container near Alephata. At the time of the accident, most passengers were asleep, making the incident even more shocking.

Following the crash, chaos ensued at the accident site. Emergency responders quickly arrived, and the injured were rushed to a nearby private hospital for treatment. Due to the accident, traffic congestion was reported on the Pune-Nashik highway, but authorities later cleared the route to restore smooth vehicular movement.
