Kanpur: A delivery boy was severely beaten up while during his work hours in the Jajmau police station jurisdiction. Reports indicated that the perpetrator and his accomplices not only attacked other staff members of the delivery company but also caused damage to their vehicles.
Tushar Kanaujia lives near Jajmau Gaushala and works as a delivery agent for a grocery delivery company. According to Tushar's statement, he visited the specified delivery location in Jajmau on Thursday evening, where the recipient allegedly declined to accept the order and used caste-based slurs. When Tushar objected to this behaviour, he was physically attacked.
Tushar then called his colleagues for help, who were also assaulted by the accused and his group. Their vehicles were also vandalised. The situation escalated further when the accused party issued threats to Tushar and his co-workers, prompting him to file an official complaint at the Jajmau police station. SHO Ajay Prakash Mishra said an investigation is on and appropriate action will be taken against the perpetrators. tnn
