Mumbai witnessed a star-studded wedding on Friday as actor Priyanka Chopra’s younger brother, Siddharth Chopra, tied the knot with Neelam Upadhaya. The wedding, held in the city, saw Priyanka playing a special role as she walked her brother down the aisle, urging guests to cheer for the couple.
A viral video shared by a paparazzo captured the heartwarming moment, where Priyanka, dressed in a baby blue lehenga, accompanied Siddharth, who looked regal in a cream sherwani. The actor had earlier danced joyfully at his baraat, grooving to “Gallan Goodiyan” from her 2015 film Dil Dhadakne Do.
Priyanka arrived in India last month with her daughter, Malti Marie, while her husband, Nick Jonas, landed on Thursday. Following the haldi and mehendi ceremonies, Nick joined Priyanka and Malti for the sangeet, where his parents, Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr., were also present. Priyanka’s cousin, Mannara Chopra, attended the festivities, while Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha skipped the pre-wedding events but were seen arriving for the wedding.
Priyanka shared glimpses of the celebrations on Instagram, posting a Reel from the sangeet and behind-the-scenes photos from dance rehearsals. Expressing her excitement, she wrote, “Shaadi ka ghar… mere bhai ki shaadi!”
