Mentally challenged girl sexually assaulted at her home in Hassan

Hassan: A mentally challenged girl was sexually assaulted at her house in Hassan district on Wednesday. The girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man, who has two children, when she was alone at her house while her parents were away to attend a function, said a police officer.
The accused gained entry to the house on the pretext of giving her a chocolate and committed the crime, said the officer.
The incident came to light only when the girl's parents returned home and took her to a hospital. Hassan police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the accused.
