Lucknow: Bhagidari Sahitya Utsav, a festival of marginalised voices, will be held at Bhagidari Bhawan in Gomtinagar on Feb 8 and 9.
Organized by the ministry of social welfare Uttar Pradesh and Metaphor Lucknow LitFest, the platform will offer voices to those who have historically been marginalized, silenced, and excluded from the mainstream literary landscape. This Utsav amplifies the narratives of Adivasis, tribals, Dalits, transgender individuals, women, and other minorities, ensuring their stories are heard, their perspectives are valued, and their experiences are acknowledged. The event will features prominent voices from fields of literature, media, films, and brings together artists and writers from various states, including voices from Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Goa.
"This Utsav is an invitation. An invitation to listen deeply, to learn from different perspectives, and to expand our understanding of the world. It's an invitation to participate in a movement that is reshaping the very fabric of our literary and cultural landscape," said the organiser.
