There are numerous actors and actresses in the Bollywood industry. While many aspired to become actors from the beginning, others initially pursued different career paths. Similarly, the actress we are talking about today once aspired to be an IAS officer and wanted to join the civil services. However, her life took a completely different turn, and today, she is a successful actress! We are talking about Raashii Khanna.

Raashii made her debut in 2013. Originally from Delhi, she completed her graduation in English from Delhi University before stepping into Bollywood. Did you know that in an interview, Khanna once revealed that she wanted to become an IAS officer?

During an interview, the actress said, “I was good in my studies. Initially, I wanted to become a singer, but in college, I decided to go into administrative services. I wanted to prepare for IAS and become an officer, but my luck took me to films. I never dreamt of becoming a model or an actress.”

Talking about Raashii’s journey, she started as a model during her college days. Apart from that, she also worked as a copywriter. In 2013, Khanna got her big break with Madras Cafe, starring alongside John Abraham.

Raashii Khanna made her debut in South Indian cinema with Oohalu Gusagusalade. While she gained more recognition in the South than in Bollywood, her recent role in Yodha alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani has significantly boosted her popularity in the Hindi film industry.

Reportedly, she charges around Rs 1 crore per film, and her net worth is estimated to be over Rs 66 crore. Raashii Khanna has multiple Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films lined up for release later this year or early next year.
