Board constituted for smooth functioning of APSRTC

The State government has constituted a Board for managing the affairs of the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) for two years.

A G.O. (M.S. No. 6) released to this effect on Wednesday said the Board comprises its Chairman and Director Konakalla Narayana Rao, Machilipatnam, Vice-Chairman and Director P.S. Munirathnam, Kuppam, and 15 Directors.

They include Donnu Dora (Zonal Chairman, Vizianagaram Zone), Reddy Appalanaidu (Zonal Chairman, Vijayawada Zone), Suresh Reddy, (Zonal Chairman, Nellore Zone), Nagaraju Poola (Zonal Chairman, Kadapa Zone), Special Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary/Secretary to government, Department of Transport and Buildings, Special Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary/ Secretary, Department of Finance (dealing with APSRTC), Special Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary/Secretary to government (Services), General Administration Department, Managing Director of APSRTC, Additional Commissioner/Executive Director (Administration), Public Transport Department, Financial Advisor, Public Transport Department, Executive Director, ASRTU (Association of State Road Transport Undertakings), Delhi, Director-CIRT (Central Institute of Road Transport), Pune, Director of Road Safety, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Delhi, Director (Transport), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Delhi and Director, Ministry of Urban Development.
