Two JJMP ultras surrender in Latehar

Daltonganj: Two ultras of the Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP), identified as Pappu Sao (32) and Chandan Prasad (30), surrendered before Latehar SP Kumar Gaurav and commandant of 11 Battalion of CRPF Yaad Ram Bunker in Latehar on Tuesday, Latehar police said.
"Both of them were associated with the banned JJMP for many years and carrying out criminal activities in areas under Balumath, Chandwa and Latehar police station limits," SP Kumar said.
Both hail from Chhipadohar in Latehar district. Pappu has four cases, while Chandan has one case registered against him. The two surrendered sans any arms. TNN
