Satya Intl has entered into a licensing agreement with US-based DURACELL to manufacture, market, and distribute DURACELL products across Asia, Africa, and Oceania, including Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, and Laos, among others.
As part of this expansion, Satya plans to introduce lead-acid, tubular, inverter, and UPS batteries, along with automotive power accessories such as battery chargers and jump starters.
Commenting on the development, Rakesh Sharma, Managing Director at Satya Intl, said, “Our licensing agreement with Duracell Inc. marks a significant milestone in our journey to enhance the automotive and tubular batteries sector, as well as the automotive accessories market in Asia and Africa.”
The products will be launched in mid-February and will be available to customers through Satya Intl’s distribution channels starting April.
