World’s richest Muslim country: Muslims, the followers of Islam, are the second largest population of the world after Christianity. Muslims constitute more than 24.1% of the world’s population is Muslim, with an estimated total of approximately 2 billion.

There are 57 Muslim countries in the world and among them, the most prominent and wealthy nations are located in the Middle East. They include Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iraq, Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Oman, and Jordan.

These countries are counted among the richest countries in the world, especially Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.

These selected countries have almost equal distribution of wealth, but there is one small nation that stands out as the richest, and that nation is Qatar.

Qatar is located in the Qatar Peninsula on the northeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It shares its sole land border with Saudi Arabia to the south, with the rest of its territory surrounded by the Persian Gulf. The capital is Doha.

Qatar is the richest Muslim country on the basis of GDP per capita at purchasing power parity (PPP), with incomes exceeding $133,357 per capita.

On the basis of per capita GDP, Qatar is also the richest country, with incomes exceeding US $68,977 per capita.

Qatar has vast reserves of oil and much of Qatar’s wealth comes from its extensive exports of natural gas, oil, and petrochemicals.
