Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have unveiled exciting news today, revealing the launch of two new routes to Budapest for Winter 25/26. This announcement comes as the airline expands its reach with scheduled services from East Midlands and Newcastle International Airports.

As the UK’s third-largest airline and a top choice for European city breaks, Jet2.com has responded to the rising demand from British travelers eager to discover the charms of Hungary’s capital. With the addition of these new routes, Jet2 now offers six routes to Budapest.

Twice-weekly flights will be available from East Midlands, operating on Mondays and Fridays from 10th October 2025 to 27th April 2026. In addition, Newcastle International Airport will offer exclusive services on Thursdays and Sundays between 9th October 2025 and 26th April 2026. These new services build upon the success of dedicated Christmas Markets trips from the airport, making Jet2.com the only airline offering regular flights to Budapest from this location.

This expansion means Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks are now offering services to Budapest from multiple UK airports, including Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds Bradford, with a variety of city breaks already available for Winter 25/26. Furthermore, Glasgow Airport continues to offer dedicated Christmas Markets trips to the Hungarian capital.
