Police: Ten loose & ‘aggressive natured’ dogs bite citizens at a Kwik Trip in Wisconsin, woman given 15 citations

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – One person was struck with 15 municipal citations and a criminal offense referral in Wisconsin stemming from responsibility for 10 dogs that were loose and biting people.

According to the Madison Police Department, officers were dispatched to a Kwik Trip in the 4800 block of American Parkway around 6:35 p.m. on Monday on a report of 10 loose dogs that were biting people.

Officers confirmed the report upon arrival, identifying numerous loose dogs that were aggressive in nature. Numerous officers were needed, as they used pepper spray due to the aggression shown by the dogs.

About eight people were reportedly bitten, including one sergeant and a Madison firefighter. A woman on the scene was identified as the responsible party for the dogs.

The woman was issued 15 municipal citations along with a criminal offense referral. After roughly two hours, the dogs were secured and taken to the Dane County Humane Society.
