Prayagraj: Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Maha Kumbh on Wednesday.
Senior mela police and administrative officials on Tuesday reviewed the arrangements in and around the mela and deployed additional forces.
The PM is likely to reach Bamrauli airport at 10am, and then he will fly to the DPS helipad. After reaching the DPS helipad, the PM will head to Triveni Sangam from Arail Ghat by cruise and will take a holy dip. He is likely to spend around an hour in Maha Kumbh.
On Dec 13, 2024, the Prime Minister inaugurated as many as 167 projects, collectively worth Rs 5,500 crore, to improve the city's infrastructure and provide better amenities to pilgrims for Maha Kumbh. The projects also included four corridors: Akshayvat, Hanuman Mandir, Bhardwaj Ashram and Shringverpur Dham.
