Minister for Education and IT Nara Lokesh participated in the grand idol installation ceremony of Sri Muthyalamma Thalli and Sri Pothuraju Swamy at Yerrabalem in Mangalagiri constituency, on Monday (February 3, 2025) amidst huge gathering of the NDA cadre.

Upon his arrival at the temple, Mr. Lokesh received a warm welcome from alliance leaders and local residents. He entered the temple premises amid the chanting of Vedic hymns by priests. Later, he took part in the ‘vigraha pratishtha mahotsavam’ (idol consecration ceremony), during which the temple premises echoed with devotional chants of “Jai Muthyalamma Thalli” and “Jai Pothuraju Swamy.”

On this occasion, vedic scholars performed special rituals and offered blessings to the Minister. After the installation ceremony, Mr. Lokesh offered prayers to the deities and received tirtha-prasadam. He also interacted with the locals and posed for photographs. Additionally, he accepted petitions from the public regarding various constituency issues.
