Winter Weather Advisory 2/2/25
Winter Weather Advisory 2/2/25

A weak disturbance is moving by to our north and is bringing light snow showers, a wintry mix and freezing rain for areas mainly north of Pittsburgh and in the ridges. Light rain showers are possible from Pittsburgh and south through the early evening hours. Slippery travel and icy roads are likely in the areas that are under the Winter Weather Advisory and for some areas north of Pittsburgh as well. Watch bridges and overpasses could be icy or slippery, make sure to use caution.

The work week will kick off with warmer marks, clouds and a bit of a breeze with gusts around 20-25 mph. This southwesterly wind will push temperatures into the mid to upper 50s but they won’t stay there for long. Cooler air will fill back by Tuesday and stick around into Wednesday. The next system will move on Wednesday with the chance for snow and the potential for a wintry mix. Then back to the 50s for Thursday with rain likely before turning colder again Friday!
