1 dead as auto rams into bus; 12 others injured as bus brakes fail

Hyderabad: One person died and two others were injured when an auto moving on the wrong side collided head on with a TGSRTC bus in Pochera in Boath mandal of Adilabad district on Friday.
The bus was on its way to Adilabad from Boath.
The auto driver and one passenger escaped with injuries, but another passenger, Enugu Laxma Reddy of Chityala in Nirmal district, died in the impact. Reddy was on his way to his relative's house in Dhanora village in the auto when it rammed into the bus
In another incident, twelve passengers of a TGSRTC bus suffered minor injuries when the bus veered into the agricultural fields near the road after its brakes failed on Friday.
The bus belonging to Kamareddy bus depot was on its way to Sircilla when the accident happened near a turn at Gorantala bridge in Ghambhirraopet mandal.
Rajanna Sircilla collector Sandeep Kumar Jha later visited injured passengers admitted in the Govt General Hospital in Sircilla.
