Budget 2025: Govt on course for lower fiscal deficit in FY25 and FY26, says finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman

Budget 2025 | The government is set to achieve a fiscal deficit of 4.8% in 2024-25 as per the revised estimate, down from 4.9%, and 4.4% in 2025-26, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in her Union Budget for 2025-26.
