Patna: The state NDA leaders on Saturday hailed the Union Budget, terming it as progressive as it has given a huge relief to the middle class, and has also envisaged boosting agriculture, infrastructure and tourist sectors that will create jobs. Besides, the Budget has addressed concerns of Bihar and its people by announcing new institutes, projects and financial assistance for them, they maintained.
State agriculture minister Mangal Pandey thanked PM Modi, Union FM and Union agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on behalf of the farmers of the state, for announcing establishment of the Makhana board in the state.
Former minister Shahnawaz Hussain also praised the Budget, saying that it has scope for creation of employment through development of tourism and other sectors. "It has also given a huge relief to middle class people and farmers," he said.
