Six Kumbh pilgrims injured in H’bag bus collision
Hazaribag: Six pilgrims returning from Maha Kumbh Mela were injured on Saturday morning when their bus collided with another bus. The officer-in-charge of Chouparan police station A K Singh said none of the victims died and all injured were immediately transported to Chouparan CHC for medical attention.
Meanwhile, Chouparan police led by SDPO Barhi Ajit Kumar Vimal successfully cleared a major traffic blockade on National Highway-2 between Chouparan and Barhi following the accident.The congestion had particularly affected long-distance buses travelling to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
"We are maintaining constant surveillance of vehicle movement to prevent traffic jams," Singh said, adding, "Our efforts have yielded positive results with vehicles now moving smoothly toward their destinations."
