Security guard found murdered

Kanpur: A security guard was found murdered in Dhamna area of Maharajpur police station area of the district on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Ramprakash, 55, from Jahanabad, Fatehpur. His body was found lying on a cot in the plot where he worked with severe injury marks on his face made by some heavy object like brick. Initial investigation indicates the involvement of a servant of the property owner.
The plotting area, where Ramprakash worked, belongs to Bhupendra Singh in Dhamna, Maharajpur. On Wednesday night, Ramprakash was resting on a cot inside a hut on the plotting site. He was attacked by the assailants in his sleep.
Locals residents spotted the body next morning and alerted the police. The police launched an investigation and questioned many people.
Investigation suggest that the servant's employment was terminated following a complaint lodged by the guard, potentially leading to animosity. DCP East SK Singh confirmed the murder and identified the former servant as a suspect.
