Bullets fly in fight over car parking in Noida, two injured, 2 held
Noida: Two men sustained injuries on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday after a group of people opened fire during a dispute that occurred when the victims asked the other party to move their vehicle.
The injured, Rohit Yadav of Bahlolpur and Dhruv of Gadhi Chaukhandi, have received medical treatment and are out of danger now. Rohit lifts soil and garbage and empty plots while Dhruv is a tractor driver.
According to police, a drunk group of men named Azad Baisla, Vishal, Ravi Sharma, and others were going in a car, where the two victims were present to get garbage lifted from an empty plot in Mamura Lane 7.
Rohit and Dhruv allegedly asked the others to move their vehicle for theirs to pass, however, Azad started misbehaving and attacked the two with sticks and illegal weapons. They reportedly got shot in their legs, from a pistol.
A relative of injured Rohit stated that he already suffered from polio in one leg, and Azad shot the other.
Phase-3 police arrived at the spot and admitted the victims to Kailash Hospital.
A case was registered against Azad and others. Two of his companions, Vishal and Ravi Sharma, were arrested. Efforts are ongoing to arrest the others.
