Kharge’s statement not befitting his stature: Pejawar seer

Udupi: Pejawar Mutt Pontiff Sri Vishwaprasanna Thirtha Swamiji, in response to AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge's statement on Maha Kumbh Mela, said that no one should ignore the majority. "Kharge's statement reveals his intentions. We must respect the sentiments of the majority. Everyone's feelings should be respected, and no one should be hurt. Such statements are not befitting his stature," the pontiff said.
People are coming to witness the event from across the country and abroad, he said. "There are reports of some inconvenience at the Kumbh Mela. Exceptional arrangements in Prayagraj have been made. I offer prayers to God to prevent any inconvenience. May all future festivals proceed smoothly. Those going to the Kumbh Mela should be patient and avoid danger," he added.
