Much-needed rain arrives in Southern California reducing short-term wildfire threat

Flood alerts remain in effect across portions of the Los Angeles area in Southern California as much-needed rain moves into the region. And while the rain is helping with the ongoing wildfire fight, it’s triggering fears of mud and debris flows in burn scar areas.
