Three arrested for murder of youth in Dehat

Kanpur: Three people, including woman and her brother-in-law were arrested on Sunday for the murder of a 20-year-old youth whose body with stab wounds was found on Thursday, January 23.
A love triangle led to the murder conspiracy in Rohini Shyamgarh village of Kanpur Dehat district. Superintendent of Police BP BBGTS Murthy said, "On Sunday, Neeraj Devi and her brother-in-law Sarvesh Kumar were nabbed from near Rohini Tiraha, while Shivam alias Kallu, from Shyamgarh Majra Rohini, was detained outside Sadguru School."
"During questioning, Sarvesh admitted to having a relationship with his sister-in-law Neeraj Devi. Neeraj was also having relationship with Vikas, 20, son of Ramvilas from the village. Upon discovering this, Sarvesh, along with his cousin Shivam alias Kallu and Neerja conspired to eliminate Vikas." The SP confirmed the recovery of the murder weapon based on Sarvesh's statement. The victim's body, discovered on the evening of January 23 had 16 stab wounds. Vikas's father, Ramvilas Rajput, registered a complaint against Sanjeev Kumar, his wife Neeraj, Babbu, and Sarvesh. TNN
