Elderly among two found murdered

Varanasi: A 65-year-old man was found murdered in Puarikala village under Badagaon police station in Varanasi on Monday morning. In Revati, Ballia, the body of one Shrawan Yadav (35) was found . Ramkunwar Patel (65) of Puarikala village was sleeping about 200 meters away from home. His daughter-in-law, Radhika found him lying in a pool of blood next morning. DCP Gomti Zone Pramod Kumar, ADCP Akash Patel, and Baragaon police arrived at the site. An investigation was launched after sending the body for postmortem.
In Ballia, the body of Shravan Kumar Yadav alias Jaishankar Yadav (28), of Karmanpur area, was found lying behind a school in Srinagar Gram Panchayat under the limits of Revati police station. Some passers-by alerted the police. Police recovered a motorbike and a liquor bottle near the body.Following the initial investigation, police have sent the body for a postmortem examination, said SO Revati Rohan Rakesh Singh. Officials suspected that he was murdered with a sharp-edged weapon. The motive behind the killing could not be determined. tnn
