Bundle of lies, a sign of desperation from AAP, claims Bidhuri

New Delhi: BJP manifesto committee chairperson Ramvir Singh Bidhuri dubbed the election manifesto of AAP a "bundle of lies" and a "desperate measure" by the party.
"AAP is losing the Vidhan Sabha polls. Hence, despite Delhi's treasury being empty, it is making absurd promises to the public. The party has not been able to fulfil even the previous promises," Bidhuri alleged. He rubbished claims that BJP would stop the existing schemes. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has guaranteed that the facilities being given to the public will not be stopped," he stated.
The BJP leader alleged that AAP was deceiving the women of Delhi by promising them Rs 2,100. "It won the elections in Punjab three years ago by making the same promise, but the people there are saying that they were cheated." Bidhuri further claimed, "The plan to waive water bills was announced two years ago, but the bills were not waived. Ration cards for the poor people of Delhi were not made for ten years. The pension of the elderly was stopped for the last several years." The BJP leader also alleged that the sewer system of Delhi had collapsed. "People were forced to live in a hellish condition in jhuggis and unauthorised colonies, but AAP govt did not pay attention to this...They remember their promises of 24-hour clean water supply and taking a dip in the Yamuna only during elections," he stated.
Bidhuri said that AAP govt did not even have money to pay salaries to its employees. "They are asking for loans from Modi govt...Modiji has given many guarantees to the people, like free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh to the citizens of Delhi under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. People have full faith in Modi; he proved this by winning all the seven seats of Delhi in the Lok Sabha elections. The same results will be repeated in the assembly elections as well," he claimed further.
Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva alleged that in the last ten years, only dreams were shown. "The honorarium announced in Punjab to women has not been implemented yet. The promise of Sanjeevani health services is a scam. The Ayushman Bharat scheme was deliberately blocked in Delhi but implemented in Punjab. Why this double standards."
