Mangalore University, in association with Indian Association for Radiation Protection (IARP) will organise the 35th IARP National Conference on Radiation Protection for Sustainable Nuclear Energy: Adapting to Climate and Technological Changes, from January 29 to 31 at Mangala Auditorium at Mangalagangothri.
Atomic Energy Regulatory Board Chairman D.K. Shukla inaugurates the conference at 9.30 a.m. on January 29 in the presence of Bangalore University former vice-chancellor K. Siddappa, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) Vice-Chancellor M. Vijaya Kumar, Kaiga Generating Station Director B. Vinod Kumar, BARC Director D.K. Aswal and others.
Mangalore University Vice-Chancellor P.L. Dharma presides over the function. Registrar K. Raju Mogaveera and others will participate. Releasing a souvenir and e-abstract book, trade exhibition and announcement of IARP awards will be a part of the event, said Convenor N. Karunakara in a press release.
