Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri, on the occasion of Republic Day, released the teaser for his upcoming film The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter. The over-two-minute-long video was shared on the YouTube channel of Abhishek Agarwal Arts on Sunday, showcasing the first look of actor Mithun Chakraborty.

In the teaser, Mithun Chakraborty is seen walking down an empty corridor, sporting a rugged appearance with a white beard. His character, with a burnt tongue, recites the Preamble to the Constitution of India, looking weary and limping as he speaks. The video concludes with him leaning against a wall, finishing his recitation.

Dropping the teaser, Agnihotri wrote, "PRESENTING: A tribute to the Constitution of India. From the makers of #TheDelhiFiles: The Bengal Chapter. Witness an epic untold story this Independence Day, 2025. Releasing worldwide. #RightToLife."

According to the plotline, "The Delhi Files is a deeply emotional film that brings a significant chapter of Indian history to life on a grand scale. It explores the poignant Bengal tragedy, uncovering a lesser-known part of India’s past. With its impactful storytelling, breathtaking visuals, and stellar performances, the film promises to deliver a thought-provoking and unforgettable cinematic journey."

Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter aims to ignite important discussions about India’s history, politics, and social issues. The film is produced by Abhishek Agarwal and Pallavi Joshi, and presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal & I Am Buddha Productions. It is set to release globally on August 15.
