Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s love story is one of Bollywood’s most-celebrated romances. The couple first crossed paths on the sets of Tashan in 2008, a time when Kareena was still in a relationship with Shahid Kapoor. According to reports, while filming, Kareena and Saif grew close, eventually leading to the end of her relationship with Shahid. In a old chat with Niranjan Iyer, Kareena opened up on how she made the first move because Saif was ‘restrained’.
She had said, “I was the one who kind of pushed all the right buttons. Saif actually is the kind of guy who is not very forthcoming towards any woman. He will never make the first move. He is too English and restrained in that way. And plus, when I made the first move, he was like, ‘I can’t believe that Kareena Kapoor is doing this’. He was like, ‘why?’ I mean, it was like an entire building had crumbled on his head. So I don’t know what he meant by that, whether he thought he was very lucky or what. But well, eventually it all worked out. And I think it was, I was responsible for it."

After a few years of dating, they tied the knot on October 16, 2012. The couple is now proud parents to two sons—Taimur Ali Khan, born in 2016, and Jehangir Ali Khan, born in 2021.
Saif Ali Khan Stabbing Incident
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan, who sustained multiple injuries during a robbery incident at his residence, is finally back home after being discharged from hospital. The actor received a warm welcome from Kareena Kapoor and family.
Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by an intruder at his Mumbai residence in the wee hours of January 16. It was reported that at around 2 AM, the actor heard noises when one of his female employees was attacked in Jeh’s room. This prompted Saif to intervene, which led to an altercation between the two and the attacker injured both Saif and the female employee. The Bollywood star was stabbed six times by the robber following which he was rushed to the hospital.
