The spotlight was on the off-form Indian captain who was struggling with form, after an underwhelming series down under. However, he turned the tide with some glorious strokes that uplifted the crowd’s morale at the BKC Stadium, in Mumbai.
Rohit was seen executing a lovely lofted drive over the bowler‘s head on a fuller delivery. The timing was so sweet that the red rock swirled straight into the Sharad Power Stand. Right after, he pulled a short of a length delivery outside the stumps over the deep square leg region for a six. Although he got out for 28, the superlative strokes including a six, four, and four on back-to-back deliveries left the Twitterverse abuzz.
