Two Koderma anganwadi sevikas to attend R-Day event in Delhi

Koderma: Two Anganwadi sevikas from Koderma have been invited as special guests to attend the Republic Day programme in Delhi. Kanchan Devi and Kanak Lata are among the 10 Anganwadi workers selected from Jharkhand for for their exceptional dedication to children's development.
Kanchan, serving at Chaurahi Anganwadi centre in Chandeara block since 2003, said, "This honour will inspire me to work harder for my centre, which has 40 enrolled children at present."
Kanak, who has been working at Khab Tola Anganwadi centre in Satganwa block since 2007, stated, "I will work with renewed energy and enthusiasm after returning from Delhi."
Terming it a proud moment for the administration, district development commissioner (DDC) Ritu Ran said, "We are making all possible efforts to maintain high standards at Anganwadi centres for children's holistic development."
