A 10-member Australian edtech delegation, which visited the city recently, met senior officials from public-private partnership (PPP) entities, representatives of educational institutions and tech business to explore collaborations and partnership opportunities.
The delegation was organised by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) under the Australia-India Business Exchange Programme of the Australian government. The objective of the visit was to foster partnerships that enhance collaborations between India and Australia. The delegation, comprising representatives of edtech companies, higher educational institutions, registered training organisations, and universities from Australia, was earlier in New Delhi and participated in the India digital summit 2025, where they met with India’s leading edtech companies, educational institutions, and tech giants.
Vik Singh, Trade and Investment Commissioner, Austrade, said: “Australian edtech solutions can support the Indian government’s agenda to bridge the educational gaps and continuously upskill the country’s workforce in a rapidly evolving job market. Through interactive content and certificate programmes, Australian edtech solutions equip learners with relevant skills for the workforce and become the bridge between individual aspirations and national skilling goals.”
