A 28-year-old woman Madhavi ended life after allegedly giving pesticide-laced food to her two daughters, aged two and three years, at Gollala Adarsh Nagar in Bheemunipatnam here on Saturday. The police said while the two-year-old Rakshitha died, other girl is battling for life. Police suspect that dispute with her husband might have led Madhavi to take the extreme step. Bheemunipatnam police registered a case. Further investigation is on. The couple hailed from Srikakulam district and are settled in Visakhapatnam. Those who are in distress can contact helpline no. 100.
